MINISTER in the Prime Minister’s Department (Federal Territories) Hannah Yeoh has confirmed that she has divorced her husband, M Ramachandran, after 18 years of marriage.
The matter was confirmed by Hannah’s press secretary, Ahmad Fazli Mohd Yadi.
However, Ahmad Fazli has asked that Hannah be given space following the development, stressing that no further explanation would be provided at this time.
Hannah, 47, and Ramachandran, 46, married in 2008 and have two children, Shay, born in 2011, and Kayleigh, born in 2013.
Hannah previously served as Youth and Sports Minister from 2022 to 2025, and was also Deputy Minister of Women, Family and Community Development from mid-2018 to early 2020.
She is currently serving her second term as the Segambut MP after winning the seat in the 2018 General Election.
Prior to that, Hannah served as the Subang Jaya state assemblyman for two terms from 2008 to 2018 and made history in 2013 as the first woman to be appointed Speaker of the Selangor State Legislative Assembly.— Focus Malaysia
