It is reported that Datuk T Murugiah, who was formerly from People's Progressive Party (PPP) has finally joined Malaysian Indian Congress (MIC).
MIC CWC recently approved his application for membership.
With this revelation, the non-party Deputy Minister in the Prime Ministers Department is secured of his position for the moment.
The important question that is still unanswered is what was the 'agreement' made with MIC and Murugiah with regards to his Senatorship extension when it expires.
