Najib: Impossible for Pakatan to beat BN, we keep our promises

PEKAN - It is impossible for the Opposition to take over Barisan Nasional's role in leading the country as the parties do not have a common ideology, says Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak

"Their political beliefs clash with one another showing their partnership to e a loose one," Najib said at a Deepavali lunch gathering hosted by the Pekan MIC division on Saturday.

Najib said that Barisan Nasional had a proven track record of keeping its promises while opposition parties just made empty pledges.

"From the days of the Alliance until the Barisan leadership, we have proved that we keep to our promises. Barisan brought the nation independence and we will be the one to steer the nation to be a highly-developed one," he said.

He also warned the people against taking any risk on the matters as a wrong choice could cause “calamity.”

"We cannot afford to forsake our future. If Barisan cannot win, no others can win," said Najib.
