About 11.82 million registered voters in Malaysia may be surprised that a Malaysian politician has met with the late Philippine President widow, Imelda Marcos in 2007 at the Peninsula Hotel, Makati Manila.
Why did this Malaysian Politician meet her, whose real name is Imelda Imelda Remedios Visitacion Romualdez who is currently a Member of Parliament for Ilocos Norte?
According to information from Manila, they talked on how to withdraw her frozen money from Swiss bank accounts belonging to Imelda which she hopes to finance her political campaigns and for the Women's Congress of the Philippines and also for her, Imelda children while Senator Bong Bong Marcos, Marcos IMY Governor anticipates the total amount needed to be more than 1billion pesos.
