Unperturbed by growing pressure from netizens and civil society, Home Minister Hishammuddin Hussein said the police will continue to investigate all cases related to the Bersih 2.0 rally and this will be followed by prosecution.
Although the police operations on Saturday have ended, he said investigations against Bersih 2.0 will not stop.
"Issues raised before this will continue to be addressed, including the discovery of weapons, incidents related to bank accounts as well as certain groups. Don't think that we will not continue our investigation."
Hishammuddin said certain evidence has been submitted to the Attorney-General's (AG) Chambers for further action.
"Of those who were arrested, the AG's Chambers is currently studying the seriousness of their offences to determine whether to charge them or not."
On the six Parti Sosialis Malaysia activists detained under Emergency Ordinance, Hishammuddin said investigations are still going on.
