Anwar, who looked calm when answering the questions levelled at him by journalists, said he would not entertain such questions.
"Any issues regarding morality, alcohol, gambling, vice, cruelty, slander or saying (about) a bad character of a person - I will not entertain and refuse to answer," he said.
At his side was his wife and PKR president, Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail.
Blogger Papa Gomo posted a clip over the weekend that he claimed to be an "exclusive" video of two men, allegedly businessperson Shazryl Eskay Abdullah and Anwar, entering and exiting a lift of a building said to be an apartment in Ampang that was the the venue of the infamous sex video.
On Papa Gomo's blog, the clip is edited to link the CCTV footage with the Carcosa sex video, showing the final minutes of the clip with the man, said to be Anwar, dressing up and leaving, with corresponding time stamps to suggest the sequence of events were continuous.
The CCTV footage was earlier mentioned in the case facts when Eskay and his collaborators were tried and charged in June with screening pornography at the luxury Carcosa Seri Negara Hotel in Kuala Lumpur.
Another on the way?
The new clip also ended with an ominous teaser of another piece of footage, apparently taken on Jan 13, 2011 at around 8.30am.
The "new video" shows a man, alleged to be Anwar, in a bathrobe, taken from what appears to be a hidden camera.
The blogger threatened to release this new video (left) soon, saying this was just a teaser and asking, "Where was Anwar on Jan 12-13, 2011?"
"Should we release this (new) sex video of Anwar Ibrahim...?" taunted the blogger.
A self-professed BN supporter, Papa Gomo had earlier been investigated by the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) for posting the Carcosa sex video.
PKR Youth's deputy information chief Rozan Azen Mat Rasip yesterday lodged a police report urging the authorities toinvestigate Papa Gomo.
