The police have taken statements from Harakahdaily journalists over an article relating to the Mat Indera controversy.
Chief editor Zulkili Sulong said until 11.55 this morning editor Azmi Yusof and news editor Mohd Nazri Abdullah were still being questioned by two police officers from the Sentul district police station.
"I myself will be interrogated after this. Right now, I'm still waiting for my turn," he toldMalaysiakini when contacted.
According to Zulkifli, the article in question was published on the PAS party organ website on Aug 5.
Among others, it reviewed a book published by the Yayasan Warisan Johor (YWJ) and quoted PAS deputy president Mohamad Sabu as defending his earlier remark that Mat Indera was the real hero when he allegedly led the attack on the Bukit Kepong police beat in 1950.
The police had arrived at the Harakahdaily office on Jalan Pahang in Kuala Lumpur at 11 this morning, said Zulkifli.
