Report on Noramfaizul's death submitted to PM, says Azeez

KUALA LUMPUR - 1Malaysia Putera Club president Datuk Abdul Azeez Abdul Rahim said Sunday that he had submitted a report on the death of BernamaTV cameraman Noramfaizul Mohd Nor to Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak.

"Thus, it would be better for the Prime Minister himself to reveal the full report on the tragedy," he told the media after a tahlil session for Noramfaizul at the Al-Islah Mosque in Serdang. He did not say when the report was submitted.

About 200 people, including BernamaTV Synergy Sdn Bhd chief executive officer Engku Emran Engku Zainal, attended he session.

Noramfaizul, 39, was killed by a stray bullet in Somalia on Friday when covering a humanitarian mission.

Abdul Azeez said the club would see to the payment of claims of the insurance that it took covering Noramfaizul as a member of the mission.
