It will be an uphill task for Gerakan to win all five seats it will contest in Selangor in the next general election, Tan Sri Dr Koh Tsu Koon admitted.
The Gerakan president told delegates at the Selangor Gerakan state delegates assembly Sunday that even if they worked hard, they could still lose against Pakatan Rakyat.
"Therefore, I urge those who are not chosen to contest to have an open heart and fully support the chosen candidates," said Dr Koh.
He added that in the past, there were cases of "non-cooperation" from candidates who were not chosen to contest.
The seats in contention are the parliamentary seat of Puchong and four state seats of Bukit Lanjan, Bukit Gasing, Teratai and Kota Alam Shah.
