DAP CNY GREETING WALKABOUT IN KOLOMBONG TAMU

WALKABOUT.....DAP leaders in Kolombong Tamu during CNY walkabout.
THE SABAH DAP leaders were at the Kolombong Tamu (Giant Supermarket) in Inanam greeting the people a Happy Chinese New Year and 'Gong Xi Fa Cai' today. The Chinese New Year mood has finally arrived in Kota Kinabalu among the people.
The KK MP Hiew King Cheu was accompanied by Edward Ewol Mujie, Dr. Felix Chong Kat Fah and other DAP members during the CNY greeting walkabout. The people welcome the DAP leaders and wish them well and to have a fruitful and prosperous Chinese New Year.
They hope that in the new Lunar year will have a big change in Malaysia. The feelings of the people in general and commonly understood, are looking towards a new era brought in from the change of the present government.
This was heard repeatedly during the walkabout, and this implies that the people are all for the change and couldn’t wait any longer. In fact now is the CNY celebration, but surprisingly the people have focused all their attention on the coming election. The CNY walkabout but the Sabah DAP leaders had become more of an election campaign walkabout.
Everyone is talking about change of government but very little on CNY celebration. MP Hiew said he has been asked many times over and over again concerning when is the election, and that he must make sure that the BN is be toppled in the coming election. The people said that they will give DAP and Pakatan Rakyat their fullest support.
Sabah DAP leaders will continue to carry out their CNY greeting rounds for the whole of next week to cover most of the areas, and tomorrow (Sunday) will be in the KK central market and Gaya Street Fair.
This year DAP will come to the Gaya Street Fair later than usual, because we have taken in view that the hawkers are busy in the morning hours to do their busy and at the same time to receive the many political parties who come to shake their hands. This has become annoying and disturbing their sale and customers. Therefore, we have decided to come later during the morning hours and allow the hawkers to do some business first.
The DAP leaders will split into several teams to cover the various part, and for those areas that cannot be covered by the DAPs, we extend our apology and wish you all a prosperous and happy Chinese New Year. This will be the “Year of the Dragon” and it will be a good year, let us do a big change for betterment in everything. Lastly, we wish all “Gong Xi Fa Cai”.
