Now, Ummi accuses her brother of trying to kill her

As if her public claims of virginity and the equally loud counter-claims by an ex-boyfriend that she wasn't were not disgraceful enough, Umno's political 'villainess' Ummi Hafilda is now accusing her brother Azwan Ali of trying to kill her.

According to the Star, Ummi lodged a police report over the matter at the Tan Tun Dr Ismail station on Tuesday.

Another government-controlled media, Buletin Utama TV3 also reported that Ummi lodged the complaint based on Azwan's  Twitter which basically said 'Let's catch that woman from Hell. Burn her body.'

Rush to probe her claim

OCPD Asst Comm Arjunaidi Mohamed confirmed receiving Ummi' report, adding that the case was being investigated under Section 506 of the Penal Code for criminal intimidation.

Arjunaidi also said the police will seek assistance from the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission to ascertain the validity of the threat.

PKR members close to Ummi's other brother Azmin Ali, the Gombak MP and PKR deputy president, said they were not surprised the police were "so accommodating" to his sister.

"They call her political villainess not for nothing. She is like a hired hand for Umno to use against Opposition Leader Anwar Ibrahim and her own brother. All I can I say is the more she talks, the more she blackens Umno's name and her own and not PKR's or Anwar's Azmin's or Azwan's," a veteran PKR watcher Eddie Lee told Malaysia Chronicle.

Staying 'fresh in the public's mind

Indeed, not one to lose a chance for publicity whether negative or positive, Ummi has already she will call for a press conference.

Just weeks ago, Ummi had in an impassioned public plea urged Azmin to return to the family fold, as if to imply that he was the wayward son for supporting the opposition. Somehow, she missed the fact that it was she herself who was disowned by their father before he passed away.

Azwan, a TV personality, had previously blasted her attacks against Azmin and his wife, calling her a “a disgrace to race”.

“It’s a disgrace to race to sue people for millions. The punishment of hell awaits for your sins to siblings. Your own body is full of sh** and you want to sue others for millions? Confirmed you are a shameless witch,” Azwan had written in a series of hard-hitting messages on his Twitter.

To be rolled out as Umno 'secret weapon' against Anwar

Azwan was upset because Ummi had then filed a series of RM100 million ringgit lawsuits against Opposition Leader Anwar Ibrahim, PKR president Wan Azizah and Azmin.

She also sued ex-boyfriend Baginda Minda, who had repeated what he told the public years ago, that they had been overs in London and she had begged him to leave his wife and elope with her.

Although, in the most recent suit against Baginda, Ummi took a sumpah laknat or calamity oath on the Quran that she did not have sex with Baginda as he alleged, and if she was lying then calamity befall her, the court was still unimpressed and threw her case out.

Little is expected to come out from the latest Ummi 'event' except to keep her in the public's eye, until such a time when Prime Minister Najib Razak - who is Umno's president - is ready to roll her out to further 'damage' Anwar - his political arch rival.
