In a surprise development, Sijangkang assemblyperson Ahmad Yunus was today sworn in to replace Hasan Ali, the former Selangor PAS commissioner who was expelled by his party two weeks ago.
Ahmad, the new state exco member for religious affairs, took his oath before the Selangor sultan at the Kayangan Palace this morning.
Selangor PAS commissioner Dr Rani Osman was the favourite candidate to be picked for the post.
