DAP seems to be recruiting Malay members and this move seems to frighten UMNO, who had for the past 54 years seem to claim that they are the only party that champion Malay interest.
But the sudden interest by Malays with DAP, UMNO seem worried and would say and do anything to frighten them from joining DAP, which they had all along claim to be a "Chinese" party.
