The 1Care Ripoff

If the 1 Care scheme is allowed to takeoff it is expected that a National Healthcare Financing Authority (NHFA) will be set up to manage the scheme. It will be run like a GLC and like other GLCs it will be controlled by BN especially UMNO cronies. It is estimated that RM45 billion a year will be collected from Malaysians under the proposed mandatory 1 Care scheme. Mandatory means compulsory. You cannot choose to opt out. Regardless of whether you are young and healthy and hardly see a doctor your salary will be deducted.

Yes, year in year out RM45 billion will be siphoned from the hard-earned wages of Malaysians into the 1 Care scheme.
