SEREMBAN, 10 FEBRUARY, 2012: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak arrived here this morning for a day-long visit to Negeri Sembilan.
Najib, who was accompanied by his wife Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor, flew by helicopter to the Seri Menanti public field in Kuala Pilah near here and were greeted by Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Mohamad Hasan and his wife Datin Seri Raja Salbiah Tunku Nujumudin.
Najib and Rosmah had an audience with the Yang di-Pertuan Besar of Negeri Sembilan, Tuanku Muhriz Almarhum Tuanku Munawir, and the Tunku Ampuan Besar of Negeri Sembilan, Tuanku Aishah Rohani Almarhum Tengku Besar Mahmud, at the Istana Besar Seri Menanti in Kuala Pilah.
Then, they left for Rahang here where Najib is scheduled to hand over letters of house ownership to residents involved in a resettlement project in Kampung Abok.
Najib and Rosmah are also scheduled to attend a lunch with state Barisan Nasional (BN) leaders at a leading hotel here. The prime minister will attend Friday prayers at Sikamat Mosque.
In the afternoon, Najib is scheduled to attend the Golden Jubilee anniversary of the Seni Silat Gayong Malaysia organisation and the World Perdana Gayong Malaysia 2012 celebrations at the Seremban Municipal Council field.
Najib and Rosmah are scheduled to return to Kuala Lumpur after the event.
