EC BOUNDARIES ALIENATION (CORRECTION) - ANOTHER PERAK FIASCO IN THE MAKING!!!!

 
The Election Commission has sprung a SURPRISE by alienating or according to them correcting election boundaries. It claims that it is provided for under Section 7 of the Election Act 1958. But what most of us know and feel RIGHT is that, only PARLIAMENT can make any changes to the election boundaries for whatever reason.

Looking at the haste in making sudden changes on the "instructions" of their political masters, EC seems to have  undermine the ability and trust entrusted to it. While many election changes were proposed by BERSIH or NGOs to make the elections, clean, fair and accountable, the EC had always made it a point to express that they are unable to make any changes without the directive of Parliament.

What most of us feel is that ANOTHER PERAK FIASCO is in the making. UMNO/BN fully knows that any election changes need the 2/3 vote in Parliament and with UMNO/BN only controlling a bit more than half of Parliament, any legislation to amend will not be well received by the other members of parliament. UMNO/BN as usual, will try to hoodwink the public by claiming that certain Section in the Act does provide for such action.

A few months ago, we observed that the public were made to panic into paying up for summons by offering 50% discount. Now, it was made aware that they are unable to impose any restriction or charge the offenders in Court since the law does not allow them to collect these fines although actually committed. Another factor is that the government needs to collect these FUNDS for its coffers, so that they (UMNO/BN leaders) could have a 'lavish' lifestyle at the expense of the public.

UMNO/BN is desperate to win over Selangor in the next general elections. So much of attention and funding is given to UMNO/BN Selangor to secure this goal. Even the Prime Minister makes unusual visits to Selangor almost every week now. Soon we will hear financial goodies are handed to every voter in the State to please them to vote for them.

Another better method would be to alienate the State seats so that the current Opposition government will  be paralysed and this will give UMNO/BN a ace over their opponents and the likelihood of capturing the State seats.

Since they had been "successful" in Perak by using the Courts to circumvent the law, UMNO/BN may use the same method to achieve their master plan.

UMNO/BN is desperate to control Selangor and regain Putrajaya at all cost.

BUT the VOTERS and the RAKYAT are the actual people who could say WHO they want in SELANGOR and PUTRAJAYA.

UMNO/BN will only learn their lesson to care for the rakyat, stop corruption and to management the country effectively IF WE TOPPLE THEM AT THE COMING GE13, to punish them for creating a mess of the whole situation so far. By voting them into power is like giving them a triumph card to continue ripping us off.
