Some 130 cases of apostasy were reported to Selangor Islamic Religious Council (Mais) from 2004 to 2011, the Selangor state assembly was told.
Replying a Mohd Shamsudin Lias (BN-Sungai Burong) question yesterday, Menteri Besar Khalid Ibrahim (left) said only 14 of them filed with the Syariah Court had been resolved.
"The remaining 116 are unresolved till now," he added.
He also labelled proselytising in the state as a theory raised by the former Selangor exco member in charge of religion, Hasan Ali.
"He said he has a video to prove it, so we shall wait for the video," he said.
Khalid also said that the Selangor government would continue to monitor apostasy or proselytising activities through the Selangor Islamic Religious Department (Jais) and Mais.
Section 4 of the Control and Restriction Enactment for Non-Muslim Religions 1988 bans non-Muslims from converting Muslims, he added.

Video to be released in 10 days
Later, in his debate on the royal address, Hasan said he would release his video on the proselytising of Muslims in 10 days.
Hasan told reporters later that Mais and Jais need to increase their staff so that a task force specially to monitor apostasy could be formed.
He said he has been touring the country to expose cases of apostasy after the controversialJais raid on the Damansara Utama Methodist Church grabbed the media limelight.
He also accused Christian missionaries of being behind the apostasy movement, something that has been denied by the Catholic Bishop Dr Paul Tan Chee Eng.
