Three blind and dumb mice invade Malaysia's Parliament

Three blind and dumb mice invade Malaysia's Parliament
Don't worry, be happy! Why? Well, Malaysia's debt is still 2% short of the critical level, says Deputy Finance Minister Awang Adek, who obviously has a high tolerance for risk and danger.
Either that or he has no other explanation to give and so has to put on a good face on the issue, which incidentally is a disgrace and classic example of bad financial and fiscal management.
"It is not at a critical level at the moment. Our limit or threshold is 55 percent of the Gross Domestic Product, we are now at 53 percent. So you don’t have to worry about it," Awang told a stunned Parliament this morning.
So for such a display of 'intellectualism', it is only fair to award Awang a prize for making one of the most idiotic statements of the month so far. Yes, there are more - such is the calibre of Malaysian politicians especially those from the BN. Really, someone should keep tab and make a list until Parliament ends on April 12 and then crown the clown with worst gaffe.
First basket case
Based on Awang's breezy but thoroughly irresponsible statement, one wonders how many times has his car been towed to the petrol station to be refilled? Given his complete disregard for prudence and all things wise, the answer has to be almost every day! That is how Awang thrashes his car, not heeding the low petrol levels until everything is gone. Same case for Malaysia. By the time we hit 55%, what will Awang suggest then?
This is the kind of basket case Prime Minister Najib Razak fills his Cabinet with, and puts in charge of finance too - surely a most important portfolio that should be headed by industry professionals.
No wonder, the Malaysian economy is visibly sinking. As long there are the Awangs around to defend Najib's under-performance regardless of the harebrained excuses they provide, the PM is happy and rushes off to tour the world on taxpayers' money.
But in the meantime, the clock is ticking down to 2019, the year of national bankruptcy predicted by Najib's own ministers. But no one is surprised or alarmed anymore. The feeling is one of inevitability. For as long as Najib runs the country, it will go to the dogs.
Second and third basket cases
Kong Cho Ha is the second one who needs a thorough tongue-lashing for sheer lack of brains and thinking ability. When asked by DAP's Tony Pua to explain the rising cost of the KLIA2 relocation and what was the rational behind choosing the new airport site, Kong's grand answer was that it was because it was "based on the KLIA Blueprint December 2008”.
What type of an answer is this? If Kong was back in school, the teacher would have made him stand on a chair for 2 hours at least. This MCA man is not at all serious about giving a good response, he doesn't believe in accountability. He must have though, 'Oh it's just Tony Pua and the opposition asking, who are they?'
But fool that he is, Kong just doesn't realize that the Malaysian people don't like it. Tony is asking the question on their behalf, he is doing his job in trying to protect them and they know it. This is why they elected him. If Kong wants to be re-elected, he better stop giving dumb answers and do his homework properly. What a lazy man!
Let all Malaysians be informed that the KLIA2 construction costs mysteriously jumped from RM1.7 billion to RM3.9 billion and part of the reason is due to the shifting of its location. So, why was it necessary to relocate to that particular spot? Moreover the new location has disadvantages such as the need to have an additional control tower and extra earthwork due to its terrain.
So how come the Transport Minister does not know the reasons? Or is it that he 'purposely' doesn't know! So convenient it must be for Kong Cho Ha to simply hantam (wallop) any answer, but it only confirms he is not fit to be a minister. One may even wonder how he could pass his school exams and graduate from the university?
For those readers who are already grinding their teeth, clenching their fists and feeling most angry - hold on a second. There is still one more dumbo to get through.
Who is this third man, you might ask? Why, it's none other than our PM - Najib Razak himself. Surely, he takes the cake for being the dumbest because he doesn't even know what his ministers are doing, and how very idiotic they make themselves and him look in the process!
