UPSI PROJECT FACING CEILING COLLAPSE, AIR-COND NOT FUNCTIONING ALTHOUGH COMPLETED JUST A MONTH AGO

Another project by the Barisan Nasional government seems to be of sub-standard similarly like the Terengganu Stadium. According to sources, the project was completed a month ago and it was given the green light for occupation. Students and staff of  UPSI have started using it a few weeks ago. But in the case of the Terengganu Stadium it collapsed before it could be used. It is really embarrassing to see the signboard outside the project claiming " Another Barisan Nasional Government Project".



Heavy rainfall this past week saw ceiling cracks and collapsed in this new construction. Residents have raised various construction defects. Even new air-conditioners installed have not been functioning in order.



 Even Hilman Idham, Special officer to PKR deputy Azmin Ali had visited this new project and had witness the poor workmanship. Hilman was there to accompany students involved in their protest to the IPD Tanjung Malim, which is situated about 200 metres from the college. The police had summoned a few students to identify students or people who were involved in the protest, in the police on-going investigation.
