CID chief denies Khalid posed with sexual questions

National CID chief Mohd Bakri Mohd Zinin has denied allegations that his men posed irrelevant questions, including those of sexual nature, to undergraduate Khalid Ismath.

During a press conference in Kuala Lumpur today, Mohd Bakri dismissed the allegations made by Khalid's lawyer as "nonsense".

"The allegation is a nonsensical allegation because the police investigation was done professionally," he said.

Khalid was arrested by the police last Saturday over the claims that he had kicked a traffic police officer during the Bersih 3.0 rally on April 28.

Yesterday, his lawyer Latheefa Koya claimed that he was asked strange questions, such as whether he knew the Bersih coalition was symphathetic to homosexuals and whether he likes to masturbate.
