KOTA KINABALU, May 8 — The Cabinet has agreed to set up a Royal Commission of Inquiry (RCI) in an effort to find a lasting solution to the illegal immigrant problem in Sabah.
Minister in the Prime Minister's Department Datuk Seri Mohamed Nazri Abdul Aziz said the process of preparing terms of reference of the RCI has started after the Cabinet made the decision on February 8.
The terms of reference will be comprehensive and not confined only to investigations as the government wants to resolve the issue conclusively, he said when responding to a question from Senator Datuk Paul Kong Sing Chu in the Dewan Negara yesterday.
Nazri (picture) said that the terms of reference would entail safety, social, economy and environmental aspects as the RCI would provide a lasting solution to the issue.
He said the federal government would also get feedbacks and proposals from the Sabah government and stakeholders. — Bernama
So we have to keep asking about it?
ReplyDeleteThe Sabah leaders need to consistent and maintain to keep voice out the RCI. their voices presented people of Sabah voice.
DeleteThe question is, why Pairin and others are still questioning if the Cabinet has approved it?
DeleteKeep urging the government to established the RCI. leaders and rakyats should play their role.
DeleteHarap2 impian ini akan tercapai jua.
ReplyDeleteLets pray for it.
DeleteThe Federal need to serious on the RCI issue.
ReplyDeleteThe government should walk the talk.
