FGV shares: 99 percent for me, 1 percent for you

VOXPOP 'Now the privileged Umno Malays are fighting openly because the ‘99 percent' is perceived to be distributed unfairly amongst themselves.'

Umno MP: Why did unrelated person get 1mil FGV shares?

vox populi small thumbnailABU Member: The Felda settlers got only RM15,000 but an unrelated individual got one million shares.

Looking at the amount of money from the listing of Felda would generate, I am not surprised at all this had happened.

They would surely divide the catch among themselves first before throwing the scraps to others.

Swipenter: This goes to confirm that only the well-connected Umno Malays are making tons of money from IPOs (initial public offering) like MMHE (Malaysia Marine and Heavy Engineering Holdings), Felda, IHH Healthcare, etc.

They are allocated thousands and millions of shares by Miti (Ministry of International Trade and Industry) and the banks are willing to finance them 100 percent.

Basically it is just ‘buta' (blind) money for them whereas the ordinary Malays get peanuts even from the allocation meant for the bumiputera.

No wonder the income disparity within the Malay community is the worst among the ethnic groups and getting wider. That is how Umno, the defender of the Malays, behave - "99 percent for me and 1 percent for you."

Now the privileged Umno Malays are fighting openly because the "99 percent" is perceived to be distributed unfairly amongst themselves.

Pigeonhead: Kalabakan MP Abdul Ghafur Salleh, can you also kindly request in the Dewan Rakyat for the full detailed list of all persons given pink slips for FGV? The rakyat can then clearly see BN's ‘Rakyat Diutamakan' in play.

Starr: Ghafur, it's okay as it's a political donation to Umno Sabah. It's a new definition of corruption.
In this way, the country can be free from corruption in no time - every corrupt act can be turned into a political donation by the stroke of a pen.

Mataka Kataka: Generally, Umno-BN bullies the people of Sabah and Sarawak in many ways. So now, what they should do is to kick Umno out of the political scenario in Sabah and Sarawak and vote for Pakatan Rakyat for a better future.

Umno is 150 percent corrupt and not reversible at all.

Anonymous_40dc: Imagine Genting was alloted 407,005,000 shares while Felda settlers 800 shares each?

I failed to comprehend why my uncle still wants to vote for Umno-BN. Maybe he doesn't know the true fact yet.

Sabahan: Do not expect too much from Ghapur. He is probably jealous that he did not get one million shares.

Remember Anifah Aman, the brother of CM Musa Aman (most corrupt Sabah CM). At one time, he was criticising BN when he was only given a deputy minister's post. Everyone thought he was going to jump ship.

But when given the foreign minister's post, his true colours were revealed - no more criticism.

GXFC: Those Sabah Umno leaders are very clever. They know that BN ship is sinking so now they will dig up something and let it out.

This will make them a hero to the rakyat and in case the ship starts to sink they can jump over to Pakatan more easily.

Petestop: Goldman Sachs also have shares in FGV. Aren't they Jewish, the ones that the local politicians trying to outdo one another in portraying as the bogeymen? - Malaysiakini
