NOT SO ROSY- Cracks can be clearly seen in Pakatan Rakyat relations, says Zambry
IPOH: The relationship between DAP, Pas and Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) is akin to a broken glass which has been glued together to cover the cracks, Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Dr Zambry Abd Kadir said.
He said the relationship between the three Pakatan Rakyat (PR) parties was only made to look good on the outside, "but not all was so rosy in the inside".
"No matter what glue they used, the cracks can be seen. It is only waiting to be shattered into pieces," he said here yesterday.
He was commenting on a news report yesterday where DAP national chairman Karpal Singh had refuted a statement made by Pas president Datuk Seri Abdul Hadi Awang that DAP had accepted the explanation given by Pas over the "Allah" issue.
Karpal had said that no explanation was given and that it was wrong to say that DAP accepted the Pas Syura Council's decision that the word "Allah" could be used only by Muslims.
Zambry said the recent birthday celebration thrown by Karpal for Pas spiritual leader Datuk Nik Abdul Aziz Nik Mat at the former's house during Thaipusam was merely for show and an act of covering up the rift between the parties.
"There is nothing surprising in Karpal's rebuttal.
"It only goes to show the real attitude of PR."
