PKR to probe scantily-clad dancers allegations
PKR de facto leader Anwar Ibrahim said the party will investigate and take action over allegations that the party’s Kulim branch had organised a dance with scantily-clad female performers.
He said that the party has its own values, which should be upheld.
“If there is truth to the allegation, we will take action (on the person who organised it). If it (the dance) is not appropriate and involves the party, we will take action.
“The party has to uphold good values, which are to be defended at all times.”
However, Anwar (right) was unable to comment on what sort of action would be taken.
It was reported that the Kulim PKR branch had organised the controversial dance show with scantily-clad female performers.
Anwar was speaking on the sidelines after delivering a keynote address on free education at Universiti Industri Selangor, in Shah Alam.
