`Rape victim' unaware of semen stain from unidentified men on her panties

`Rape victim' unaware of semen stain from unidentified men on her panties
BUTTERWORTH - The Indonesian woman allegedly raped by three policemen could not explain how semen stains from two unidentified men were found on her panties.
When cross-examined by lawyer RSN Rayer in the Sessions Court here today, she repeatedly said, "Saya tak tahu (I do not know)" when asked how she got the stains on the panties or if she was aware of it.
Rayer stated that this was the finding from the chemist report.
The 26-year-old former factory worker also denied being a GRO (guest relation officer) or having slept with anyone in a pub in Prai between 7pm and 12 midnight of Nov 8, before the alleged rape occurred when grilled by Rayer.
He questioned if the semen stains were obtained by sleeping with men at the pub.
Deputy Public Prosecutor Suhaimi Ibrahim then interjected, telling Judge Meor Sulaiman Ahmad Tarmizi that the witness had answered that she does not know how the stain ended on the panties.
Corporal Nik Sin Mat Lazin, 33, Constable Remmy Anak Dana, 25, and Constable Syahiran Romli, 21, had claimed trial to raping and forcing the woman to perform oral sex on them in a room in the Prai police station barracks between 6.40am and 7.30am on Nov 9 last year.
Rayer also questioned the inconsistency of her police statement, adding that she had omitted information from the report – that the taxi driver Tan Wee Seng was her boyfriend, and that Tan had allegedly tried to bribe off the police, or he had promised to bring her passport to the police station – which was brought up in court yesterday.
"Which of these is true?" Rayer asked, to which she replied, "All of them."
To a question why she had signed and confirmed the police report if she had left out these details, she said was stressed when the report was made.
The court later adjourned as the victim was feeling unwell to take the stand.
Meor Sulaiman then ordered for the trial to resume on Apr 29.
