ADUN Seri Serdang Noor Hanim Ismail menuntut timbalan pengerusi Suruhanjaya Pilihan Raya Datuk Wan Ahmad Wan Omar memohon maaf kerana mendakwa gambar mengenai kejadian lampu padam di satu pusat pengiraan undi yang tersebar di Internet merupakan satu lakonan.
Wakil rakyat PAS itu mendakwa, kejadian tersebut sememangnya sememangnya berlaku pada 5 Mei lalu di Sekolah Kebangsaan Serdang, dan dirakam oleh ejen penjumlahan undi dari parti tersebut.
Gambar tersebut dengan jelas menampakkan trademark SPR di tepi kotak kiraan undi yang digunakan.
Sewaktu kejadian itu berlaku, wakil calon kami juga telah berusaha membekalkan lampu suluh ke bilik kiraan undi tersebut bagi memastikan proses kiraan undi berjalan dengan lancar.
Saya menafikan bahawa terdapat wartawan di lokasi kejadian kerana yang ada hanya ketua tempat mengundi, petugas SPR, wakil calon dan anggota polis yang bertugas, katanya.
Beliau mengulas kenyataan Wan Ahmad, seperti dilaporkan The Star Online semalam, yang mendakwa gambar berkenaan merupakan satu lakonan yang dibuat sebelum pilihan raya.
Wan Ahmad dalam laporan tersebut mendakwa, gambar tersebut disebarkan di Internet untuk menunjukkan bahawa kejadian lampu padam di pusat pengiraan undi itu benar-benar berlaku.
Menurut Wan Ahmad, gambar tersebut, menunjukkan kakitangan SPR mengira kertas undi dengan menggunakan lampu suluh, namun tidak kakitangan berkenaan tidak memakai pakaian seragam SPR
Noor Hanim bagaimanapun bertegas bahawa kejadian tersebut benar-benar berlaku.
Bagaimana beliau sendiri tidak tahu pakaian rasmi petugas-petugas SPR berwarna kelabu pa! da hari tersebut.

Oleh itu, saya menyarankan agar pihak SPR khususnya Timbalan Pengerusi SPR Datuk Wan Ahmad Wan Omar memohon maaf kepada seluruh rakyat Malaysia kerana telah melakukan kesilapan dalam mengeluarkan kenyataan tanpa membuat kajian yang mendalam dan mengambil ringan isu yang dibangkitkan oleh rakyat.
SPR sebagai badan rasmi yang menguruskan pilihanraya ini mesti dilihat profesional, adil dan telus serta tidak berpihak kepada mana-mana parti, katanya.-malaysiakini
