Fallen trees halt Kepong-KL KTMB commuter services

Daily Keretapi Tanah Melayu Berhad (KTMB) commuter service along the Kepong-Kuala Lumpur route experienced minor interruption due to fallen trees which caused the electric line cable to snap near Segambut station at 1.01am in the morning.

According to a statement issued by KTMB today, the electric commuter train services remain disrupted but ETS service was able to commute as usual.

The statement said that the commuter services from the Kepong-Kuala Lumpur station was canceled but KTMB provided bus services to passengers from Sungai Buloh-Kuala Lumpur as well as at the Segambut-Kuala Lumpur Station.

KTMB added that repairs work were being carried out and that service operations were expected to resume by late afternoon, today.

Any development will be informed from time to time and the public can contact the KTMB Customer Service at 1-800-88-5862 for more information.
