For not joining his other 88 counterparts from Pakatan Rakyat to boycott a parliament briefing this morning, DAP's Bakri member of parliament Er Teck Hwa will face the party's disciplinary committee.
“We will call him as soon as possible, in the coming two or three days. He has violated discipline, we will refer him to the party’s disciplinary committee,” said DAP national organising secretary Anthony Loke.
All three PR component parties unanimously agreed to boycott the parliament briefing today to symbolise their protest over the inaction on claims of electoral frauds detected during the 13th general election.
However, PAS and DAP have said their MP would not boycott the swearing-in ceremony for the parliament's first session on June 24 as had been suggested by some PKR politicians.
Meanwhile, Er explained that he presented himself at the briefing today because he felt it was important.
