Revelation of relatives’ details, addresses escalate threat level to sex bloggers

Newly-released sex bloggers, Alvin Tan and Vivian Lee now have to watch their backs as many threats have been hurled at the controversial couple.
The threats have been rampant on social media networking sites, including Facebook, where a group has released the pair's personal details such as addresses, IC numbers and their relatives' details.
Their picture was also put up with a menacing caption - “KILL – If you hurt or kill this scum in front of me I will make like I didn’t see” - has been circulated widely.
The Star reported that the overwhelmed 'Alvivi' then tweeted "Mercy please" from their now-deactivated Twitter account.
The couple were mobbed by a large turnout of media after they were released on bail yesterday at the Jalan Duta Court Complex.
Tan, who was sporting a new crew cut and a red T-shirt, told reporters that his stint in jail was 'not bad' while Lee, clad in a pink T-shirt, shunned the press, shielding her face from photograpers.
Since last Thursday, Tan had spent eight days at the Sungai Buloh prison while his girlfriend had been held at the Kajang prison.
They arrived, handcuffed, at the court complex at 10am, accompanied by two policemen and their counsels - Chong Joo Tian and Wong Kee Them.
After their handcuffs were removed, they went on to sign their bail bonds before they were whisked off in two cars.
Chong later told the press that the couple were 'quite happy to be out of prison'.
"They need time to rest, and we’ll take it from there,” he said.
As for the threats made against his clients, Chong said that they would lodge a police report and seek protection from the cops should there be any need.
“But this is premature,” he added.
On Thursday, High Court judge Justice Mohd Azman Husin granted bail of RM10,000 to Lee and Tan, on each of the charges in two sureties after considering the judicial review application filed against the Sessions Court judge Murtazadi Amran’s ruling.
