Cops must focus on CRIMINALS, not opposition politicians - that's how to FIGHT CRIME!

Mechanisms and methods to eradicate the increased number of crimes being committed must introduced and implemented  as best as possible.

"Blaming (the rise in the number of crimes) on the abolishment of the Internal Security Act and the Emergency Ordinance does not solve anything," said federal territory PAS youth chief, Kamaruzaman Mohamad.

"These triads have been in existence not only for a month or two and that the abolishment of both the ISA and EO was not the reason for them to show themselves," he said in a statement Sept 11.

According to him, the announcement made by the Royal Malaysian Police (RMP) regarding the number of triads on the wanted list recently was scary to say the least.

This is on top of the alleged involvement of politicians in these triads' activities, he continued.

Kamaruzaman thus urged the security forces especially the police to apprehend more criminals and not political leaders from the opposition.

"What is regrettable is that the arrests and investigations that's related to politics are put on the highest priority, and those involving criminals put on the back burner," he said.

"Are opposition leaders more dangerous and a threat to the people compared to the criminals," he asked.
