No fuel price hike for now, says Muhyiddin

Deputy Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin today denied that the price of RON95 petrol would be increased soon.
He said the claim that the petrol price would be increased was not true and that the matter was also not discussed at the Cabinet meeting yesterday.
"Who spread the news? It is not true. Actually, there is no cabinet decision, in fact it was not even discussed," he told reporters after watching the Umno election simulation at the Institut Latihan Memperkasa Umno (ILMU) in Janda Baik, near Bentong.
Muhyiddin said this when asked about claims that the government would increase the price of RON95 and RON97 by 10 sen and 15 sen, respectively, as posted in the social websites since yesterday.
Early this month, the price of RON95 was increased by 20 sen to RM2.10 per litre. - Bernama
