ALOR STAR - The mother of the three sisters who were suspected murdered, finally broke her silence and plead the netizens to stop spreading rumours on the death of her daughters.
Siti Aisyah Ariffin, 40, who was struggling to come to term with the loss of all her children, said it was heart-breaking to learn about false rumours on the death of their daughters - Noor Syafikah Nadia Rusdi, 14, Nur Izzati Husna, 12 and three-year-old Puteri Nurul Akma - which 6went viral in the social media and blogs.
“We beg everyone out there. Please stop speculating this case and just leave it to the authority.
"It has been hard enough for us and all the rumours on our daughters' death only make it worse.
"Please, we just lose our precious children at one go. All we can do right now is pray hard that the cruel culprit would be captured and brought to justice soon," she said when met at her house in Kampung Alor Semela here today.
Her husband, Rusdi Rani, 38, who was also present, said they planned to spend the next few days at his hometown in Kuala Besut,Terengganu.
"It's too painful to stay here. We saw our children and felt their presence at every corner of this house.
"My wife kept crying thinking of the tragedy that befell our little sweethearts.
"Until today, Aisyah dreams of the children and will wake up and cry in the middle of the night, " he said.
The trio was reported missing after they left home and told the parents that they were seing a friend a Kampung Gelam, some 5km away, on Friday. - NST
