KUALA LUMPUR - A hotel worker claimed trial to raping his underaged sister-in-law at his flat unit's bathroom last year.
The 26-year old man was charged at the Sessions Court with raping the 10-year-old girl in the bathroom of a People's Housing Project(PPR) flat unit at Kepong, Jinjang, between April and May, 2013.
Sessions Court judge Azwarnida Affandi did not grant bail and fixed July 23 for mention.
The accused was represented by counsel Dony Abdullah.
Meanwhile at the same court, a contractor claimed trial to committing incest against his 26-year-old stepdaughter.
The incident purportedly happened at a PPR flat unit at Setapak, Wangsa Maju, around 2am on June 14.
Azwarnida declined to offer bail and fixed July 22 for mention for the accused to appoint a lawyer.
Deputy public prosecutor Siti Aisyah Ahmad prosecuted in both cases. -NST
