Bury BN in Pengkalan Kubor, say PAS delegates

The Kelantan state government vows to continue fighting for its oil and gas royalty from the Federal government.
Kelantan UMNOBATU PAHAT: Ahmad Fadhli Saari, a representative of PAS Kelantan, vowed that PAS’ far reaching goals went beyond merely retaining Kelantan but included wresting control of the Federal government from Barisan Nasional.
Ahmad Fadhli said, “As soon as this assembly ends, we will go to Pengkalan Kubor, and bury Umno and Barisan Nasional.
“Kelantan also fully supports the policies of PAS’ president Abdul Hadi Awang and will remain steadfast in our struggle and the tahaluf siyasi (political cooperation) with Pakatan Rakyat,” he said at the 60th PAS annual Muktamar.
He also insisted the government hand over all oil royalties to the Kelantan state government and not retain it at the Federal government level.
In a show of patriotism for his party, Ahmad Fadhli vowed the Kelantan state government would continue its fight for oil and gas royalties that were rightfully theirs, saying, ”We must fight for the revenue from the royalties to return to our pockets instead of into the pockets of the Federal government.”
He added that the government appears to prefer Songlap oil rather than oil from Kelantan, despite it being further away from Kota Baru.
“The government prefers to uphold the supremacy of Siam instead of upholding the supremacy of the Malays,” he said.
Stressing that PAS continue to focus on voter registration, Ahmad Fadhli said, ”The key to success in Kelantan is to emphasise voter registration. Don’t dream of fighting for Putrajaya if we cannot find those who will vote for us.”
