Do it, revoke my passport, sex blogger Alvin Tan dares Zahid

Sex blogger Alvin Tan has challenged Datuk Seri Ahmad Zahid Hamidi to carry out his threat to revoke his (Tan’s) passport.
"Don't just threaten. Just do it. Don't be (a) coward," Tan said on his Facebook page in response to Zahid's comments earlier today that the government was mulling revoking the blogger's passport.
The home minister said this at a function in Kepong, in reference to Tan’s alleged condemnation of the Sultan of Selangor for stripping Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim of his state award and touching on a few other sensitive issues in the country.
"We can do it today or Monday. We can do it as soon as possible."
Tan also insulted Zahid in his latest Facebook posting, using foul language.
Tan is currently in Los Angeles, California, after fleeing the country three months ago in a bid to seek political asylum in United States.
On Friday, he had posted comments on his Facebook page insulting the Selangor ruler for revoking the state title conferred on opposition leader Anwar.
Tan also said he preferred to care for street dogs instead of funding the royals and that the royals and Umno (leaders) were alike.
In his speech this morning, Zahid made insinuations against Tan while speaking about the Sedition Act.
"Breaking fast, we were insulted with the dish pork. If that person (Alvin Tan) dares to do it, why run away? Why hide? (He) should come forward and face the music," he said.
Communication and Multimedia Minister Datuk Seri Ahmad Shabery Cheek told Bernama the fact that Tan was seen as being brave in issuing statements through postings from outside the country while still in hiding was regrettable.
Shabery said individuals like Tan should not have made all sorts of statements, including protesting against the decision by the Selangor palace, as it could hurt the feelings of various quarters.
“People like Alvin who supports Anwar Ibrahim, who was stripped of his title, and make all kinds of statements is a person who is aligned and on the same level as Anwar," he was quoted as saying yesterday.
Tan, 26, and his former partner, Vivian Lee, 25, are facing criminal charges under Malaysia's Sedition Act as well as the Film Censorship Act for their controversial online uploads, including a photograph on Facebook deemed insulting to Islam.
