Folks I just received this :
Is Najib really prepared to wade in the flood waters? Can he do something like this:
MALAYSIAN PRIME MINISTER NAJIB RAZAK RETURNS TO OVERSEE FLOOD RESPONSE
- Najib Razak will return to Malaysia to continue overseeing the response to the floods
- Upon arrival in Kelantan, the Prime Minister will chair a meeting and receive briefings
- will also meet people affected by the flooding and discuss new measures
- “decided to return from the US to oversee the emergency response to the floods
- will land in Kelantan on Saturday
- PM felt it was necessary to return to personally oversee the response
- PM said: "I am deeply concerned by the floods. I feel for the people .."
- “While I have been away, I have been in constant contact with National Security Council
- But I want to see the situation for myself and be with the people.”
Can you believe the wording ? "I feel for the people, ...and be with the people" !! Sounds so phoney and artificial.
Anyway the PM wants to land directly in Kelantan. Hello, have they checked the airport? What if the airport is also flooded? Najib may want to fly in on one of these :
Gambar tipu. Bergurau saja. Jangan marah ya.
Mr PM dont step into any water that has a current in it (air yang ada arus), no matter how shallow it is. Dont go on a boat to any flooded place with a strong current in it. I believe HRH the Sultan of Perak should not have been put in that tiny inflatable and taken on a swollen river with sunken logs and debris under the water.
Stay dry and do a good job.
