YES, IT'S WAR BETWEEN NAJIB & MUHYIDDIN: Dr M loyalist blames Shabery, Puad for 'LAZY' DPM attack

Minister of Communications and Multimedia, Datuk Ahmad Shaberi Cheek has instructed the Director General of JASA, Mohd Puad Zarkashi to launch an attack against Deputy Prime Minister, Tan Sri Muhyiddin following the disclosure of video clips of his speech that condemns the way Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib handled the issue of 1MDB which involves more than RM 40 billion.

Based on the command chain, the Director General is directly under the Minister and if that instruction is not followed, this means the Minister himself no longer has control over his officer, who is also a member of UMNO's Supreme Council.

Puad Zakarshi criticized Muhyiddin on his Facebook describing him as a Education Minister who is lazy compared to himself when he served as the Deputy Education Minister and was willing to visit schools in rural areas.

He added that Muhyiddin's attitude also caused other officers to be complacent and behave as if all was well on the surface.

This is the first time in history where since its establishment, the Director General of JASA, which is under the Ministry of Communication and Multimedia, criticized a deputy prime minister. This may be due to the exception in the appointment of Puad Zakarshi to a position which should be held by someone who does not have any political involvement. He is a member of UMNO's Supreme Council.

As such, many people draw conclusions easily given the fact that the main task of the department covers political matters and it is almost impossible for the department to act alone without any specific orders from its own minister, paving way to political involvement.

People concluded that Dr. Puad Zarkashi's action is purely because of instructions from the Minister of Communications and Multimedia following the DPM's recent video.

This is seen as the beginning of 'war' between the supporters of Najib and Muhyiddin following the attacks by Muhyiddin, which had been kept private earlier but now made public after the video surfaced.

Even without that sensitive video, Muhyiddin must be aware that somehow Najib would get to know about this although he was absent during the ceremony, where Muhyiddin addressed leaders at UMNO branch in Janda Baik, Pahang, because several ministers including the Chief Minister of Pahang had attended the programme as well.

So whether the video was purposely made public to put Muhyiddin in a bad light for being a Deputy Prime Minister who is not loyal, or to help Muhyiddin gain support from UMNO members does not matter because somehow, his speech would have found its way into the public domain.

I received information that in the last supreme council meeting, Puad Zakarshi was the one defending the Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak strongly,whereas Tan Sri Muhyiddin on the other hand gave his honest views and stern warnings besides highlighting people's frustration regarding 1MDB.
