Six men were charged with murder while an an army doctor was charged with abetment over the murder of deputy public prosecutor Anthony Kevin Morais earlier this month.
G. Govindan, 47; S. Nimalan, 22; S. Subramaniam, 44; A. Thinesh Kumar, 22; M. Vishwanath, 44; and R. Dinishwaran, 22 allegedly murder Morais between 7am and 8pm somewhere along Jalan Dutamas Raya in Sentul and Jalan USJ 1/6D in Subang Jaya on September 4.
Pathologist Dr R. Kunasegaran is charged with abetment.
Both offence carries the death penalty upon conviction.
No plea was taken when they were charged before magistrate Siti Radziah Kamarudin.
