Lets say you are a muslim/christian/jew and you therefore believe that all other muslim/christian/jews are followers of fake religions.
Then you begin to realise that to create any fake religion you need three main ingredients.
1stly you must create a fake 'god'. This fake god must have the power to bless you, destroy you, forgive you and to damn you. This fake "god" controls your whole life.
2ndly you must also create another fake idea - a heaven and hell where if you do all the things the fake god wants you to do then after you die you will go to heaven and live happily ever after. If you did not do all the things that your fake god asked you to do, then you will go to hell and burn.
3rdly (this is the most important component) you must create the priests with their books, fake rituals and fake theologies who have self appointed themselves as the gatekeepers to 1 and 2 above. The priests tell you who god is, the priests frighten you with blessing and damnation, heaven and hell. If you dont follow the priests they can condemn you, they can ask their enforcers to burn you at the stake, cut off your head.
By using this simple method and frightening the people the priest of the false religion can control all human beings. No need for capital, assets, business acumen, technology or anything.
Now please stop for a minute. We are talking about 'false religions' ok. What is a false religion? A false religion is the other fellow's religion. Please keep that in mind. 1, 2 and 3 above only applies to the other fellow's religion. It does not apply to your religion.
Now here is the big similarity - 1, 2 and 3 above are also the same methods used by the people claiming to have the "true" religion. Read 1, 2 and 3 again.
Some thinking is required. Maybe a helicopter will help (for that helicopter view).
At the end of the day you must rest assured, your final fallback must be that the other religions are all fake. And they depend on one thing only : blind faith.
