So what if I'm rich, PKR Youth leader asks Jamal

Ampang PKR Youth chief Adam Rosly said today it is not unusual for a young person like him to be wealthy and have the 'Datuk' title, despite being only 28 years old.
Adam said this after red-shirts leader Jamal Md Yunos questioned his wealth, alleging that the bungalow Adam purchased is worth RM7 million.
"What about it if I'm 28 and rich? Malaysians know that there are many rich young men. Many young people also have the title 'Datuk'.
"I received my datukship the same time Jamal did. I was in the same line as him when meeting the sultan.
"He wants to question my datukship, but what about him, receiving a datukship this year, and then awarded the 'Datuk Seri' title the same year. Jamal better not pressure or try to embarrass others," he said.
Adam said this to reporters at the Ampang district police headquarters, after accompanying PKR’s Ampang MP Zuraida Kamaruddin, who lodged a police report against Jamal over scuffles between PKR activists and the red-shirts on Sunday.
Adam clarified that the bungalow at Kampung Melayu Ampang was actually an abandoned property that he purchased at auction, for about RM1 million.
"I retained the house design. I did not renovate it so that I could live in Disneyland.
"A house in Ampang costing RM1 million is very cheap. It would be a waste not to buy a house with such a good design, and yet I am being slandered," he said.
Jamal yesterday offered six journalists to go on a helicopter ride with him so he could expose how a PKR Youth leader who lives in luxury and owns several luxury vehicles.
Make a report to MACC, Jamal told
"Maybe he thinks I live on 10 acres surrounded by palm oil, where I rear dinosaurs next to a fish pond or swimming pool," Adam said, snidely.
He also told Jamal and Ampang Umno chief Ismail Kijo to lodge a report against him with the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC).
Zuraida vouched for Adam's integrity, adding that he holds no position in the state.

"I have never doubted that Adam is clean and free of scandal. I have never given him any post, be it in the local government, as village chief or any other political appointment.
"He is credible. He is a businessman and his father is a businessman. That is his rezeki… (livelihood).
"Jamal wants to question Adam, but today Jamal is going on a helicopter ride. Does Adam have a helicopter? His red car, what make is it? That's a Vellfire, a very expensive car. Where did Jamal get his wealth?" asked Zuraida, who is PKR Wanita chief.-Mkini
