AGAIN, NAJIB REFUSES TO RESIGN DESPITE WIDESPREAD UNPOPULARITY, RISING PUBLIC ANGER

Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak has made it clear that critics will not prevent his administration from continuing to serve the people.
Urging Malaysians to appreciate the achievements over the six decades since independence, he also reminded them of the saying that one does not see the value of something, until it is lost.
“Let them (critics) say what they want, the present government will continue to serve (the people). Let them say whatever, all services (for the people) will continue,” he added in a blog posting.
The prime minister pointed out that the MRT, LRT, Pengerang, KL118, Second Penang Bridge, The Pantai Timur 3 Expressway, PR1MA housing, Perumahan Rakyat, Klinik 1Malaysia, education and medical subsidies, Teraju, Tekun, BR1M, SL1M, UTC, RTC, 1Azam, eRezeki, Dana Mudahcara and many more facilities and aid have been provided for the people.
“All of this is to improve the people’s living standard. All of this is for my beloved country,” he added.
Apart from this, Najib said in the sporting field, Malaysia’s performance at the Olympic level is at its best to date.
“We have artistic talents and athletes who are among the best in the international arena. The beauty of my country is known throughout the world, and is visited by millions,” he added.
The prime minister said elected representatives are working hard to, among others, build new roads, hospitals, places of worship, community halls and recreatational facilities for the people.
“Negative elements, both domestic and foreign, can continue to incite, but they will not be able to deny the achievements and development of Malaysia which is happening before their eyes,” he added.
Earlier, Najib’s former mentor-turned-nemesis Dr Mahathir Mohamad claimed that Najib’s administration has tainted Malaysia’s image.
