Firearms and bullets are prohibited, says Education, Higher Learning, Science and Green Technology Committee chairman.
PETALING JAYA: A Form Two student faces possible suspension from school after bringing a live bullet to class in his pencil case, The Star reported today.
Education, Higher Learning, Science and Green Technology Committee chairman Md Yunos Husin said smuggling a bullet into school was a serious matter.
He also questioned where the student, who is understood to have disciplinary problems, had obtained the bullet.
According to the report, the bullet was found last Friday after the 14-year-old arrived late to school and was sent to the discipline teacher. The teacher then checked his schoolbag and discovered the bullet in his pencil case.
Following this, the teacher lodged a police report. The boy’s father has also been informed.
Md Yunos said the student faces serious action as firearms and bullets are prohibited. -FMT
