Jamal is Najib’s example of a moderate Malaysia

YOURSAY | ‘I’m glad that they kept the clown so that the circus can continue.’
Tholu: Had anyone seriously believed that Umno would accept Jamal Mohd Yunos's resignation? Even Jamal would have not believed his resignation as party’s Sungai Besar division chief would be accepted, but nonetheless submitted it to the Umno leadership.
This is all a well-orchestrated drama to intimate to the naive that this circus clown is very much an asset to Umno.
If he really wants to quit Umno, he does not even have to submit a resignation letter. Just announce the decision to resign and sever all links and activities as an Umno member: stop paying his membership fee and that's it - Umno will be forced to deregister him as a member.
Victor Johan: Selangor Umno chief Noh Omar said this (rejection of Jamal’s resignation) is due to his performance in leading the party in the semi-rural Selangor constituency…
It should read, "Selangor Umno chief Noh Omar said this is due to Jamal's excellent comical performance in leading the party in the semi-rural Selangor constituency."
N1: I’m glad that they kept the clown so that the circus can continue.
Hibiscus: I believe Jamal's resignation will not be accepted by the Umno supreme council because he personifies PM Najib Razak's definition of a moderate Malaysia.
Any other explanation of rejecting Jamal's resignation is irrelevant.
Anonymous 1890491455255851: This reinforces the reason why any and every rational thinking Malaysian should loath Umno.
It surely shows it lacks any sort of requirement of decency and good character from those who represent it.
For them to want someone who is an alleged thug who lacks even an ounce of intelligence, speaks volumes about this party that has never have been able to differentiate right from wrong and who live in their own warped bubble. Umno is a complete disgrace.
Speak Out: Jamal, if you are really sincere in resigning because you have smeared the party's image, then just do so.
It is so obvious that you are putting on a show but unfortunately you are not a good actor. You are just waiting for your party to plead for you stay on. After that, you will do so and the show is complete.
GE14Now!: Once again, Umno gives a 'Z' grade movie performance. All this ‘sandiwara’ was not unexpected - it was done to allow Jamal to return with a vengeance so that he can inflict more pain and havoc on this country.
Gotcha: Jamal should carry more raids, especially at Felda schemes, for drugs so that he can rebuild Umno's image.
He has damaged Umno's image, which is now beyond repair. Anyway, Umno loves him. He should contest the parliamentary seat of Bukit Bintang on behalf of Umno.
Wira: Apparently, Selangor Umno needs the service of the red shirts to remind everyone, including the Malays, that they are the law.
Ace: Jamal and Umno have really shown Malaysians what they are capable of doing and what they intend to continue to do.
And if the Malays and Malaysians don't mind all the s**t thrown at them, well, what more can we say?
Anonymous 2413201460529218v “Mat Tere (Muhammad Zul Apiz Baharum) was given permission to return to Kelantan today after the police of Johor received an order from the crown prince of Johor to not continue the remand against him."
Strange happenings in this country.
Anonymous 539281478077880: To Johor Crown Prince Tunku Ismail Ibrahim, you are a great man. It takes a big person to forgive and forget.
This would go down in history in Johor, and there will be more good deeds that would come from the crown prince.
God bless you with long life and good health to look after the people in this country.
Sa Tombs: That is my royal prince: he has shown his magnanimity by being a true officer and a gentleman, notwithstanding the fact that he will be my next sultan.
He has shown the true quality of mercy. True power has been demonstrated by him. I kiss his feet.
Ash Burn: Well done, Tunku Mahkota Johor, politicians are as the saying goes - 'baling batu, sembunyi tangan' (cast the stone and then hide the hand).
Every day we are exposed to their games, posturing and pandering, which more often than not has nothing to do with the welfare of the rakyat.
JesuisAnwar: Good on you, TMJ. I suspected these arrests of various individuals accused of criticising the Johor royals were a plot to diminish the latter's new-found popularity as the most outspoken royal house.
The Final Count Down: This is an act of extreme compassion by Tuanku Ismail. Najib, you simply do not have it.

Just a Malaysian: Compassion in Umno is only reserved for their own kind.
For Isa Samad in Felda and Annuar Musa in Mara, etc, all are forgiven and may even be promoted.
For opposition, expect quick retaliation.- Mkini
