Ampang PKR Youth chief Adam Rosly has been charged with six counts of providing false information and documents to the authorities.
For giving false information, the 30-year-old businessman was slapped with two charges under Section 32(8)(C) of the Anti Money Laundering and Terrorism Financing Act.
According to the charge sheet, the other four charges are under Section 89 of the same Act for furnishing false documents to the authorities.
If convicted, Adam, who claimed trial to all six charges, faces five years in jail or a RM3 million fine, or both, for each offence.
Bail has been set at RM300,000.
