The price of RON95 petrol will be RM2.05, RON97 at RM2.31 while diesel will cost RM1.94.
PETALING JAYA: Fuel prices will be lower across the board from midnight Wednesday.
The price of RON95 petrol will go down five sen per litre to RM2.05 (from RM2.10), while RON97 will be priced at RM2.31 (from RM2.38) down 7 sen.
Diesel will drop eight sen in price from RM2.02 per litre previously to RM1.94.
The new prices will take effect from June 8 until June 14.
This was posted on the Domestic Trade, Cooperatives and Consumerism Ministry’s Twitter account on Wednesday evening.
The weekly fuel pricing mechanism came into effect from March 29 this year.
Prices of petrol and diesel have been placed on a managed monthly float system since Dec 1, 2014, following the removal of fuel subsidies. -FMT
