Mat Sabu says Indonesia was predicted to be among world's 10 rIchest countries as it is truly committed to wiping out corruption.
SHAH ALAM: Pakatan Harapan deputy president Mohamad Sabu (Mat Sabu) has revealed that the coalition will beginning sharing its manifesto with Malaysians this month.
Speaking at the 2018 Pakatan Harapan Convention at the Ideal Convention Centre (IDCC) here today, Mat Sabu said the coalition’s communications bureau along with the election bureau will start with the southern states on Jan 13 and then the northern states on Jan 20.
“We will also share with the public the implications of Prime Minister Najib Razak’s budget and the benefits of Pakatan Harapan’s shadow budget.”
He said analysts have predicted that in 2032, China will lead the world’s economy, followed by America, India, Japan and Germany.
What was shocking, he said, was that analysts have also predicted that Indonesia will be among the top 10 richest countries in the world.
Mat Sabu said what all these countries have in common is that they have successfully fought against bribery and corruption.
“We copied the Hong Kong’s model in fighting corruption but it didn’t work because while the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) investigates, it cannot take action without Najib’s approval.
“Every day, thousands of Indonesians come to Malaysia looking for jobs. Fifteen years from now it might be Malaysians going there by the thousands to look for work,” he said.

“Why is it that in South Korea and Japan, they are non-Muslims yet they fight against corruption?
“In Malay-Muslim majority Malaysia, we listen to sermons every Friday and it seems that the more sermons we listen to, the more we engage in bribery and corruption.
“It’s because we are afraid that DAP will take over and Lim Guan Eng will become prime minister.
“So, we continue voting for a corrupt coalition because of the racial rhetoric that we’ve been fed since we were in school till today.” -FMT
