School principals in Kelantan have pledged their commitment to hand the reins of the state to BN in the upcoming 14th general election (14GE).
The pledge was performed in front of Kelantan BN chairperson Mustapa Mohamed in an event titled ‘Appreciation of Kelantan’s Educators’ today.
The principals in attendance at the event were asked to stand up before chanting words of support towards Kelantan BN.
“Change! Kelantan! Win! Kelantan! GE14 Kelantan belongs to BN,” they chanted at the Dewan Sri Tunjong at the state education department in Kelantan.
Mustapa, who is also the International Trade and Industries Minister, had earlier said in his speech that for 28 years, the PAS-led state government has not developed Kelantan much.
“We hope for support and help in facing a challenging year in GE14,” he said.
The Jeli MP also said that it is important for Kelantan BN to work together with the teachers and set a good example to gain the confidence of educators in the state.
“We must set a good example, we cannot force them, and by using a wiser approach, I think they would be more receptive.
“Because they are the pillars in the education industry and have great influence and if we continue to work with them, I am confident they can ensure our government will be able to provide the best service for the people,” he explained - Mkini
