A black Toyota Vellfire with the CDR 11 number plate was seen entering Jalan Langgak Duta at about 10.30pm. The number is registered to the 40-year-old.
The car left around 11.40pm.
Earlier, a dark silver BMW X5 with VR 73 number plates, believed to belong to a lawyer, entered Najib’s home compound at 10.15pm.
Checks by Malay Mailon the car, which had a Malaysian Bar sticker, revealed that it is owned by one Ramasamy R @ Vincent Anthony, 70.
Najib’s lawyers had yesterday withdrawn their involvement, to be replaced by a seven-man team led by former solicitor-general Datuk Mohd Yusof Zainal Abiden.
A government-issued black Proton Perdana Executive was also spotted earlier entering Najib’s house compound at about 10pm and left 20 minutes later.
Further checks also revealed that the car was owned by Spanco Sdn Bhd, and believed to be leased to the Malaysian government.
However, it could not be determined who was behind the wheel of the car, which is usually reserved for senior civil servants.
This morning, Najib had his statement recorded as part of normal investigations by the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC).
