Safe in Najib's house opened, said to contain cash; eight more safes to be unlocked

KUALA LUMPUR (May 18): Two locksmiths have succeeded in opening the safe that allegedly had been locked for two decades in the private residence of Datuk Seri Najib Razak in Taman Duta here today.

According to Sinar Harian, the safe contained some cash. The amount is not known.

The two locksmiths worked from morming till afternoon today to open the safe.

Astro Awani reported that the locksmiths have now been tasked to open another eight safes found in the official residence of the Prime Minister in Putrajaya.
