PETALING JAYA: Sultan of Johor Sultan Ibrahim Ibni Almarhum Sultan Iskandar paid a visit to Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim at the Medipol Hospital in Istanbul, Turkey.
The de-facto PKR adviser who had undergone a spinal surgery procedure and an operation to his right shoulder there recently had gone to the hospital for an appointment with the doctor.
“The panel of doctors are satisfied with the progress of my health and have allowed me to go back home.
“His Majesty was introduced to the panel of doctors and he thanked them for my good treatment,” he said in a Facebook post on Saturday (July 28) night that included a picture of both Anwar and Sultan Ibrahim.
Anwar had previously said that he has lumbar central stenosis, where the spinal canal narrows, causing pain and numbness.
Anwar also has central disk herniation - also known as a slipped disc - that can cause severe neck or lower back pain.- Star
